Hello! First let me say I am so thrilled to be back here in BEAUTIFUL EDMOND, OKLAHOMA!! I am also very thrilled to be part of the Northern Hill's family. A little back ground about me, I have 6 years of teaching experience, 1 year as a 4th grade teacher, 4 years as a 3^rd greade teacher and 1 year as a pre-k teacher.  My family and I just moved back to Edmond after living the last year in Andover, Kansas......(No, I did NOT become a Jayhawk fan :).  I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade again this year and am looking forward to spending the next 9 months with your child.

I graduated college from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Educaton. I am presently working on my Master's degree.

I have two boys. My oldest is 8 years old and will attend 3rd grade at Sunset Elementary here in Edmond. His name is Chisum. My youngest is 5 years old and he will be attending preschool at Faith Christian Academy. His name is Colsten. They are my pride and joy!

Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, crafting, baking cookies, and watching movies (I'm a sucker for a good book or movie). I also love to garden and do needle point. I have no pets at the current time. My favorite foods are fried okra, good steaks, cookies, chocolate, and Diet Dr. Pepper.

Well, I hope this gives you some insight into my life and helps you feel a bit better about the teacher your child will be with this year. I want you to know that I understand you love your child and want the very best for him/her. I am the kind of teacher that will work with you in anyway so your child will experience success and love coming to school. I feel that open communication between the parent and teacher is essential to a great relationship and school year!
